Cedrus' work with a Leading Global Rental Car Company
Partnered with IBM, Cedrus was engaged to build a proof of concept project, which raised the profile and built confidence in Cedrus and IBM. This led to our being engaged to remedy another consultancy's failed attempt to build a group of mobile applications and a new customer-facing website.
Starting with analysis to determine the scope of the problem, we found 3 separate, troubled, and deeply costly code bases; understandably, the client was hesitant to change what they had already invested in. Cedrus' developers resolved these issues, unifying the codebase for 3 separate sub-brands, and building a solid foundation upon which to develop the production application in 3 months.
Over the next year, we built on the foundation, delivering a new website, iOS and Android app to customers so they can book and manage their car rentals as a unified experience.
Cedrus' work with a Leading Global Automotive Company
Partnered with IBM, Cedrus implemented Amazon in-car delivery for a leading global car manufacturer. This hybrid cloud native solution enables Amazon specialists to deliver packages to your car's trunk to prevent "porch pirates" or allow delivery even if you're not home. This solution was integrated with Amazon Key, using Spring Boot services deployed upon Red Hat OpenShift.

Our design team is dedicated to understanding that we're building the right thing, then building the thing right. Cedrus' design experts acted as part of IBM's Cloud Garage team to introduce a brand new design and innovation strategy practice to a major energy company.
